Summer 2010: Part Whatever
I'm not even going to try to keep this organised. I'll be putting all my pictures from the summer on Picasa albums, so if you want to sift through all those suckers, be my guest. Here's the rest of Creationfest:

The Matrix Marathon
When Amanda found out that some of us had never seen the Matrix (I was not part of the guilty party), she decided to have a Matrix Marathon at her house. It was very fun, and afterward there was gelling of hair and decoration of cookies.

When Amanda, Kelsea and I woke up after our sleepover we had waffles. Yum!
Later, around 3:00, Timothy picked us up and we had a hick party at a creepy playground.
Then we went to the play, which will be featured in a different post.

An Out of Order Post!
My summer has been incredibly busy, and on top of that, I took photos of EVERYTHING that has happened. This has resulted in me having HUNDREDS of pictures to go through and edit, so forgive me if I don't post tons of everything. My posting ratio is about 1/20. Say, I take 200 pictures. That means I only post 10 of them. So, here's some of the ones people have been asking for. WARNING! Some of these pictures have been artistically edited, so they won't be completely normal. Any graininess IS on purpose, I have added it in. So, here we go!
Creation 2010:
Day 1
It was HOT (in the 90s)

Amanda was pumped.

There was general awesome Switchfootery,

and then there was special awesome Switchfooter-y, which consisted of singing into guitars and singing that song that Many Moore sang in A Walk to Remember.

Rachael Beck- "I am a Mountaineer": a shutter-speed excercise

This picture was taken with a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi with a Shutter speed of 1/32 seconds, an F-stop of f/8, ISO speed of 1600, flash, and a focal length of 18.0 mm. The shutter speed and flash were chosen for the benefit of motion blur and subject focus in the same image, the ISO was chosen because of the lighting, and the focal length was chosen so that this image was close and personal, but not too close. I like this image because it has movement, yet it is still generally clear, it has emotion, it has interaction, and it makes me feel something. I instinctively like big, wild smiles that come not from the urging of a photographer, but from a moment captured by a photographer. I would change the angle. I would change the ISO to 800, or 400.
Summer '10: Part 3
This summer, The Best Group had a reunion. The Best Group is, more specifically, the best group that went on the Poland 2010 missions trip. You can see the photos taken by the best group here. Everyone came over to our house and hung out.
