Flowers Look Best With Clouds
Hello, I'd like to let you know that it's Spring. Here's what's happened so far:
I visited the Washington State University and loved it.
I visited the Washington State University and loved it.
Young Ho ate cheese.
Tony discovered his inner camera ham.
We actually got sun.
We dragged my brothers into a hat shop.
Win rode on a carousel.
And David and Jimmy threw gum at a wall.

You've got the Love...

You've got the Love... by Rachael Raynbow featuring chain earrings
...I need to see me through. ________________________________ So... hey. I've been gone for three months. Yeah, I know, that's bad. Well, I've been busy. Busy finding this great artist! Florence Welch isn't even human-- she's a fairy princess. I discovered this band in the form of a live radio performance on youtube, without fixed vocals, drums, keyboards, or any instruments other than a harp, a guitar, and Florence. After listening to more of their music, big, soulful sounds, incredible ranges, and unique lyrics were not the only pleasures that were revealed. Please BUY their music, don't steal it. Stealing is wrong in general, but stealing from Florence is a crime against the good that is left in the music industry. Air Kisses, Rachael

I've Got the Power!
Ephesians 3:14-21 (Amplified Bible)
14For this reason [seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name].
16May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].
17May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love,
18That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God's devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];
19[That you may really come] to know [practically, [b]through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!
20Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]--
21To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).

American Dream
We're talking about the American Dream in english class, and whether or not it is objective or subjective, and it got me to thinking, what really is everyone's opinion of the American Dream? So, tell me, what do you think is the American Dream? Is it wealth? Is it a family? What is it to you and what are your thoughts on it?

Almost all good things come to an end, like this summer, for example. As glorious and fun and lively as it was, it had to stop and step aside so that school and real life could come barging back in, throw themselves onto myself, and demand full attention. Of all the changes that are happening, from not being able to go somewhere whenever I can get a ride; to not being able to prioritize things according to what is easiest for myself, my family, and my friends; and even the troublesome practice of getting up before 9:00; the worst is that I am starting to see things. Just today, I thought I saw two of my friends, but it wasn't them. I am telling the truth. There was this short brunette with long hair and khol lined eyes; I thought it was Amanda until I saw the rest of her face. The other is this boy who I think I should remember, but know that I have never met. Another thing, it feels like none of this- none of this school, or classes, or homework, or freshmen, or new locker, new teachers, different people, different settings, new group, missing friends- is real. Like a dream, some sort of pretend world where we all have to grow up and learn and let go, that's what I've been walking through the past two days. Here's a photo for your trouble, if anyone has read this.

Summer 2010: Part Whatever
I'm not even going to try to keep this organised. I'll be putting all my pictures from the summer on Picasa albums, so if you want to sift through all those suckers, be my guest. Here's the rest of Creationfest:
